The Ice Run · 12 March 2018
We are racing across a frozen lake in Siberia, Russia, called Lake Baikal on a 1940’s Ural motorcycle braving sub zero temperatures averaging -20 degrees.
Some say we are crazy and stupid to embark on a 1200 mile journey and as if that wasn’t challenging enough, we will be unassisted and sleeping in a tent on the frozen lake over 8-10 days. Carrying all our arctic gear, supplies (including pepper spray for the bears and vodka for us!) and using a petrol stove to cook our survival food.
This adventure has only ever been run once before - 4 years ago - eek!!
If you want to find out more you can watch this YouTube clip:

You can also follow our progress through theadventurists.com - this will show our GPS position in the race. We will also put updates on Facebook when we can.
To make this adventure even more worthwhile we would love to raise money for Myton Hospice and kindly ask you for any donation for this worthy cause.
Thank you in advance - what could possibly go wrong 🤔
