Christchurch Rotary is made up of local people who volunteer to help make a difference in our town and internationally. In 2024 we contributed funds to over 24 local charities. We raise funds through your Just Giving donations and through organising local events such as the living advent calendar.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My Dad (Bryan) died of cancer 3 years ago on March 2nd. One of the many great things he did whilst he was alive was start and organise the Swimafun that is now an annual event run by the Rotary Club of Christchurch. Since the event started it has raised 10's of 1000's of pounds for Marie Curie Cancer Charity.
On Saturday myself and my two children (plus others) will be swimming as many lengths as we can in one hour to raise money for this great cause. Please dig deep and give generously. None of us know when this dreadful disease will strike and Marie Curie made the last few weeks of Dads life any many others like him, far more bearable.
Thank you very much.
Jamie, Woody, Nellie and my Mum (Sue)
