Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are planning on completing the National 3 Peak Challenge, it consists of us climbing/hiking the 3 highest peaks in the UK within 24hours. While doing so were hoping to raise money for the Help For Hereos Charity.

We chose this Challenge because it is designed to push us to our limits while being a great adventure i.e. climbing in the dark, no sleep for 24hours, enduring a mixture of weather conditions and getting lost due to Tucka's map readings skills and Layla's proneness to falling on her arse!!

Here's our strict time scale for our challenge

5pm Start Ben Nevis.
10pm Finish Ben Nevis and start drive to Scafell Pike (seven hour drive).
5am Arrive and start climbing Scafell Pike
10am Finish Scafell Pike and start drive to Snowdon (three hour drive).
1pm Arrive and start climbing Snowdon
5pm Finish Snowdon, and complete challenge

This is a little bit about the charity we are hoping to rasie the money for, we believe that these few lines sum up what the charity is.

"It’s about the blokes, our men and women of the Armed Forces. It’s about Derek, a rugby player who has lost both his legs, it’s about Carl whose jaw is wired up so he has been drinking through a straw. It’s about Richard who was handed a mobile phone as he lay on the stretcher so he could say goodbye to his wife. It’s about Ben, it’s about Steven and Andy and Mark, it’s about them all. They are just blokes but they are our blokes; they are our heroes. We want to help our heroes."

So please dig deep and help give something back to these brave men and women!!
