Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As some of you may know, I previously completed the Men's Health 10k Survival of the fittest 3 years ago with a group of friends and was able to raise a sum of money for Cancer Research. You may also recall that a few of us decided to wax our legs to raise awareness of what we was doing.
Well it would appear that I have not learnt my lesson from last time. Come July, we will be completing the 10k assault course in Wembley again, but this time round I have decided to entice you all to donate by promising that myself and Joe will wax our legs if our target of £250 is met. I can assure you that this will be recorded to prove that we are men of our word, or rather so that you can enjoy our pain!
Now the important part. Who we are raising money for. The chosen charity is called The Friends of the Wisdom Hospice, a charity that was directly involved with a good friend of mine and we hope to give them something back for what they did and continue to do for a lot of people.
The Friends of The Wisdom Hospice is a Charity dedicated to supporting the work of the Wisdom Hospice, providing specialised end of life care and support to local people, their families, friends and carers whether at home, in the hospice or hospital. It’s all about the patients and helping the hospice team to care for them and their families. www.fowh.org.uk
