Story

On 2nd October 2022, I will be taking part in the TCS London Marathon for Brain Research UK. I share the charity's vision of a world where everyone with a neurological condition lives better, longer. Brain Research UK has three current research priorities: brain tumours, brain and spinal cord injuries, and headaches and facial pain. The charity also funds projects in other neurological areas, such as epilepsy and dementia. Please join me in supporting Brain Research UK by sponsoring me on this challenge. I will be very grateful for any donations towards this cause, no matter how big or small. Thank you very much.

The reason I'm doing this, My family....

In all the areas of research highlighted above, someone in my family has been effected by.

You never think you'll see someone you love being told they have a brain tumour causing epilepsy,  Suffered a brain haemorrhage, A stroke caused form blood clots in the brain or dementia. But this is what My wife, Mum, Dad & Granddad have all gone through...and continue to live with the side effects each day.

In these situations you realise how much we take for granted the work people and charities like brain research do. When we are completely dependant on someone else and technology we never knew existed to save the people we love.

However that is the reality...without the research & technology continuing to evolve, The incredible surgeons & doctors wouldn't be able to do what they do and save lives.

My entire family would be completely different.

I want to give something back, raising as much awareness and donations for the charity as possible.
