5 years ago, we lost an truly inspirational man I am proud to call my uncle Martin. He was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 2012. He showed amazing bravery during the short time he lived with this horrible disease and was the heart of all the fundraising events organised. To mark almost 5 years to the day since he passed away, I will be travelling to China to take part in this years Great Wall Marathon, to raise funds for an amazing charity that supported Martin and his wife Amanda, during his illness, Dorothy House Foundation. I am hoping to raise £1000, which will go towards helping amazing staff, support other families with whatever their struggle maybe.
