Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Hannah 100 has been set up in honour of our friend John Mitchell's daughter Hannah, who against all the odds turned 18 on December 16th.  Hannah has had quadriplegic cerebral palsy since birth and requires dedicated daily care for the simple activities the rest of us take for granted.  She has been fortunate enough to benefit from the amazing care provided by Zest at St Elizabeth’s Hospice. If you are lucky enough to ever meet Hannah you will be immediately captivated by her warm smile and infectious giggles.  She enjoys music, movies and disco lights.  Hannah has always benefited from great care and in-spite of being tube fed and confined to wheelchair she leads a full life going on country walks, horse riding, sailing and cycling.  Zest helps young adults like Hannah to be the best that they can be while also ensuring they get the best of care and their families and carers get the support they need.  If Hannah could speak she would be telling you to get up off that couch, accept the challenge and sweat out the 100km for her and all her friends at  Zest.
