For those that are unaware my friend and Denny's Godfather Ryan Houghton was a former professional motocross rider from Chelmsford. 

He was injured in a huge startline crash at Blaxhall whilst racing in the Maxxis British MX1 championships. 

The accident was big enough to end Ryan's career and the on site paramedics and East Anglian Air Ambulance came to Ryan in his hour of need. We as motocross riders and fans should never take for granted the medical professionals that enable the sport to run and keep us all as safe as possible when unfortunate accidents do occur. 

The cost of one use of the Air Ambulance is approximately £4000 so Ryan and I would like to try and put at least that amount back in the tin for them. 

Many of the motocross fraternity may remember me from my time as a Journalist and definitely not a runner so hopefully you can donate generously and motivate us to the finish of our local marathon.
