A message from Andy & James:

Welcome to our sponsorship page for the 2008 ING New York Marathon, which takes place on 2 November this year.

We'll be running in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust (www.cftrust.org.uk), a charity which funds medical research aimed at treating the symptoms of and finding a cure to the UK's most common life-threatening inherited disease, which affects over 8,000 babies, children and young adults in this country.

We've chosen to run for this charity in memory of Tom Farmer, a young man who was a friend to us both during our teenage years.  Tom sadly died in May 2005, after suffering from Cystic Fibrosis throughout all of his too-short life.

This is, of course, our way of asking you to dig deep into your pockets and donate money to assist us in raising an amount which could make a real difference to the lives of people who are not as fortunate as us.

We would be so grateful if you could donate as much as you are able to spare for this worthy cause.  This website will soon be updated with a picture of us in our (very fetching) running gear, and through here we'll keep everyone who donates updated with news of our progress and, ultimately, our success.  So please consider paying a small amount in support of us and the CF Trust.
