Starting on July 7th 2012, we'll be cycling all the way from from Land's End to John o' Groats. That's about 1000 miles.

You can now donate by mobile
Text ARNO99 £5 to 70070 to sponsor us £5.
Text ARNO99 £3 to 70070 to sponsor us £3.
Text ARNO99 £1 to 70070 to sponsor us £1.
Or £6, £7 etc.
The amount will be taken from your mobile balance. Simple.
And it's FREE for you and our charity!

Setting off with our Carradice saddlebags packed full of cheese and Marmite sandwiches we aim to complete the journey in just under three weeks. Joe, aged only 14, has youth, vigour and lycra on his side. James, aged 42, has creaking knees and bicycle from 1976.

We're hoping to raise money and awareness for Action Duchenne. Action Duchenne is a national charity that aims to find a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), a severe genetic muscle wasting disease. Due to progressive muscle deterioration, loss of movement occurs, eventually leading to paralysis. The average life expectancy for patients with DMD is around 25.

It's a charity that is close to our hearts – a family we know have two boys who have been diagnosed with Duchenne.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Action Duchenne and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

However much you feel you can donate, no matter how small the amount, we really, really appreciate your support. You'll help to keep our pedals turning all the way from Land's End to John o' Groats.
