Story

I'm James Bastin and I live in Oxford.  I have an Acquired brain injury which was sustained when I was run over by a taxi when I was 19 years old, the accident also left me visually impaired.

I have a passion for helping people.

I have completed various fundraising challenges before this one including long walks in the Camino's, an Olympic distance triathlon and most recently the 97 mile long West Highland Way.

This time I plan to walk The Pennine Way which is 267 miles long.  I will do this with the support of 2 of my team members.

I am looking forward to the challenge and I have completed over 400 miles of training walks so far.

I’m raising money for children with club foot to help them get better. It’s an important cause and as I’m able to walk, I want to do the walk for those who can’t.

ZANE enables donors to help forgotten people in Zimbabwe and seeks to relieve invisible and visible suffering.

I ask that you would support them too.

Thank you and bless you.

James
