Story
I am running the 2024 London Marathon for Meningitis Research Foundation.
I contracted meningitis when I was 18. As a young adult, I assumed it was a bad flu - and I’m incredibly lucky the telltale rash was spotted before it was too late.
I was able to make a full recovery, but the memories of that time still feel as fresh today as when it happened.
Meningitis and the associated septicaemia can kill quickly - and I want to make sure that more money and research can go into tackling this illness.
I feel so privileged to have been given the opportunity to represent the MRF.
Thanks for visiting my page, and thank you to everyone who donates, it honestly means the world!
