Pan Celtic Race 2019 · 7 July 2019

When patients in London suffer life-threatening injury, only our team can provide them with the help they need. With your support, we can perform complex procedures to save lives where others can’t. We can get there in time to make a difference and provide hope for the patient and their loved ones.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Once again I will be setting off on my little folding bicycle, for an adventure not done before on little folding bicycle. This time I'd like to get your support and try to raise some funding for London's Air Ambulance service.

From Sunday 7 July I will be taking part in the Pan Celtic Race 2019 - a 1,476 mile self-supported bicycle ultra-endurance race through Scotland, Ireland and Wales. It will be a tough ride and will take me something like 12 days of cycling non-stop (whilst awake..) to complete. There is a good chance of either my bicycle or myself having some kind of terminal breakdown along the route. There will be a lot of hills along the way (it'll be like ascending Everest three times). It's peak midge season.

You'll be able to track my progress along the way, and I will endeavour to post updates as and when I can. Links to follow.

More info on the race: https://www.pancelticrace.com/

Knowing that I have your support will keep me motivated when times get tough, but more importantly will provide funding for London’s Air Ambulance, to help them to continue to save lives.
