RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Hi Guys,

First of all thank you for visiting my fund raising page. A few months ago I decided to embark (perhaps foolishly some would say!!) on training for the Bath Half Marathon in March and the Paris Marathon a month later, in April.

The charity of my choice is the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). This is a charity which has saved over 137,000 lives at sea since 1824 and is run by 40,000 volunteers throughout the UK. However, they receive no public funding and rely solely on charitable donations. The RNLI is a charity I feel very passionately about, and with your support we can ensure this charity continues to save lives.

So please, dig deep and support the RNLI! Many thanks in advance for your kind donations.

James.
