Tinnitus UK is here to support the 7.6 million people in the UK affected by tinnitus. We provide free support as well as leading the charge for more investment in tinnitus research, and work with healthcare professionals to improve tinnitus care.

Story

Myself and Amy will be jumping out of a plane to help raise money for the BTA (British Tinnitus Association) on Wednesday 16th of November, after the effects of tinnitus forced my father to jump to his death, following several months of suffering from the currently irreversible condition. The skydive has already been covered so rest assured 100% of donations will go towards the above mentioned charity.

As 1 in 10 people are diagnosed with Tinnitus, we all know someone who suffers from tinnitus..

Unfortunately 1 in 10 of those will develop chronic tinnitus/hyperacusis- a state of pain so unbearable people have taken their lives by way of medication, shooting themselves, and even stabbing themselves in the heart in a desperate attempt to bring the suffering to an end.

It is not fair for anyone to have to go through that sort of pain, nor for their families and friends to witness their loved ones in this kind of agony.

We are eternally grateful for every penny donated towards the charity, giving these tragic deaths meaning by helping to fund for a cure.

Thank you for taking the time to read our page
