Prudential Ride London 2017
Campaign by Movember (RCN 1137948)
Movember and Brompton have teamed up for the 2017 Prudential Ride London to raise funds to stop men dying too young.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So I'm 40 this year and I've set myself a few challenges to complete before I get there. One of them being the following. I have managed to get myself into doing the London 100, which isn't to bad! But with a twist. I have to ride 100 miles on a Brompton, which is a folding commuter bike. I'm also going to be growing a stupid moustache, which my wife doesn't know about yet...... I'm hoping to complete the ride in under 6 hours.

Training has gone better than expected and I've even lost half a stone, which makes up for riding a 13kg lump of folding steel......

Please donate what you can it all helps.

I've helped Movember Foundation raise money for the past 8 years, and they do some great work to help Men's health problems.

The state of men’s health is in crisis. Men experience worse longer-term health than women and die on average six years earlier. Prostate cancer rates will double in the next 15 years. Testicular cancer rates have already doubled in the last 50. Three quarters of suicides are men. Poor mental health leads to half a million men taking their own life every year. That’s one every minute.
