James's London Marathon 2018 page

London Marathon 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·
Despite it's rarity a number of my closest friends have been personally affected by this little known, little recognised cancer. I can't think of a better cause to fundraise for as I know first hand the great work that the charity performs for, and on behalf of Family's affected.
I know that any money I raise will go to where it's needed most and whilst I have lofty targets, I know that we'll be able to smash it out of the park.
Running the marathon itself has always been a sick, twisted dream/nightmare of mine and whilst I have a target in mind I'll keep that close to my chest until closer to the time. Hopefully I'll see as many people there as possible and do the charity, and those donating proud.
I'll see you at the start line!
(I can't guarantee I'll see you at the finish)
A bit more about Sarcoma UK.
I’m supporting Sarcoma UK, the only cancer charity in the UK focused on all types of sarcoma. Sarcoma is a cancer of the bone and soft tissue. It is one of the hardest to diagnose, and difficult to treat. We can help change this. By donating to my page, you will fund vital research projects looking for better treatments. Your donation will also raise awareness of the symptoms of sarcoma to help patients get an early diagnosis, and ensure everyone has access to specialist advice.Thank you for your support!
