Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On 2 April 2023 I’ll be running the Running the Schneider Electric Paris Marathon.

I’m funding the entry myself and any money raised will go directly to my local branch of Samaritans, where I used to be a listening volunteer. Samaritans is the only 24/7 confidential listening support line and while the  individual branches do get some support from the central charity they are also dependent on local fundraising. I know (from first hand experience) that this money will make a direct difference to how the branch can help thousands of people who are struggling and need someone to talk to. And not just in the local area, but across the UK as calls are randomly routed. 

Running is really Important to me, as I use it to support my own mental well-being. Truth be told I’m pretty average at it but with big ambitions (for me anyway) to improve and complete it somewhere between 3:30 and 4:00. So, I better get on with my training.
