James embraced every minute of life to the full, his energy, focus and commitment was an inspiration and much of that energy he dedicated towards sport. He was a keen runner, he loved the outdoors and he also took great pleasure in the heritage and culture of London and the city's wonderful traditional buildings and architecture. As a tribute and memorial to him we have organised the Jog for James to take place at the Tower Run on the 9th May 2012. 

 

Please find attached a photo of James with the local kids in a village in Ghana where he was for 3 months with Raleigh International after his undergrad. The experience made him very happy and helped mould the thoughtful, caring and practical man we loved. He travelled extensively in his life and I remember him telling me how much he loved Africa. Raleigh continues to do exemplary and much needed work around the world building strong communities in areas stricken by poverty.
