West Norfolk Befriending works with socially isolated older people who are often overlooked or forgotten. Many of the people it helps are unable to leave their homes due to poor mobility and health issues. The volunteer befrienders regularly visit them to bring in the outside world, sharing conversation to improve their quality of life. West Norfolk Befriending does not currently charge for its services. It is funded through grants and donations.
