Story

On Sunday the 28th March James Wilson will be doing the great Tommy sleep out in aid of SSAFA.

He will be going to sleep out with non of his luxuries, braving the cold  and wet night.

Here is James story

Hi everyone Im James the nutter thats sleeping out on Sunday the 28th of March thought I would tell you a bit about why.

I joined the army in 2001 and served in Germany and Northern Ireland before leaving due to mental health issues in 2006. Since leaving I have struggled and attempted suicide twice 😔.

In the last 5 years I have changed so much and its thanks to organisations like Ssafa, RBL, and veterans gateway they are helping me get out of debt got me help with my mental health and are looking into how to help me with work prospects.

I now want to do something for them each of these charities only exist because of the money that good people like yourselves gift Ssafa is the most amazing gift for veterans like myself.

Please help me help them even if its only a pound if everyone on here did just that it would be over a thousand pounds 😳😁please share it in every group you can thank you for reading this and for your support.

James 😀😁
