I am running the Reading Half Marathon for the first time next year and raising money for Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust Charity.

Sadly my Grandmother passed away back in May after being diagnosed with terminal lung cancer at the beginning of the year.

I saw first hand the incredible care she received from the staff of the Adelaide Ward, in the Royal Berks Hospital, in the final days leading up to her death.

Along with the money raised by my Grandfather, I want to help get towards the £7000 the ward needs to pay for a new scanner.
