Our amazing London Marathon team are taking on 26.2 miles to raise funds for the fight against Crohn's and Colitis.

Story

In February 2018 I was taken to hospital to have emergency surgery after suffering with servere abdominal pain diagnosed as appendicitis. After a three hour operation I was woken to find out my appendix, caecum and part of my small intestine was removed due to a disease. This was sent off for testing and came back positive for Crohn’s disease.  Crohn’s causes inflammation in the gut which affects the body’s ability to digest food and absorb nutrients. It is a chronic condition however surgery and drug treatment can reduce symptoms to get on with everyday life.

To give back for all the help I’ve had over the last few months, I am running the 2019 London Marathon to raise money for Crohn’s and Colitis UK to hopefully find a cure.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
