Story

On the 16th of September 2011 my mum (Karlene Mackie) passed away only weeks after being diagnosed with a malignant stage 4 brain tumour at the age of only 51.

With this being the tenth year we have been without her in our lives I have decided that on the 21st March 2021 which would have been her 61st birthday that I am going to run a marathon to help raise money and awareness in her memory.

An amazing Mother, Wife, Sister, Gran and Friend, There is not a day goes by I dont think of her and the empty feeling that has been left never goes away I just want to try and help others from having to go through this and all your help and donations will be a step towards helping people and families from such a loss.

Forever in our hearts x
