Story
My work team and I are proud to announce that we are celebrating British Heart Foundations 60th Birthday this year aiming to raise as much money as possible between now and December to help BHF beat heartbreak forever.
They do amazing work, funding research into heart, circulatory diseases, stroke and vascular dementia, also looking at risk factors including diabetes.
Unfortunately around 7.4 million people are living with heart and circulatory diseases in the UK - that’s more than double the number living with cancer and dementia combined. And sadly one person every three minutes in the UK die of these diseases - That’s 163,000 Mums, Dads, Brothers, Sisters, Friends, Colleagues every year.
We want to help beat this and so I will be undertaking my first Triathlon on October 3rd. Then just 3 days later I will be attempting to walk across London's hidden peaks - a marathon distance walk across our capital taking in the 10 highest peaks along the way. I think I may need some help so please share the love and sponsor anything you can for a great cause!
