The RBL are the UK's leading charity providing financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served and are currently serving in the British Armed Forces and their dependents.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to sponsor me for this (I'm sure you'll all agree) very well worthy cause.

The Royal British Legion helps all service men and women past and present and is a charity I am viciously keen to raise money for.  During Op Herrick 12 the RBL gave £5000 to The London Regiment to help support the soldiers and their families whilst servicing in Afghanistan.  This contribution / funding helped families to network, share experiences and enjoy various visits / activities whilst their loved ones were away.  Without their support and funding such prestigious events e.g. going to Paris for a weekend will not have taken place.

I have seen first hand what a difference they can make to soldiers and their families hence why I choose to support them in raising funds to help them to help support our boys and girls.

I will be running in the Great North Run 2011 to raise funds for RBL so please please please make a contribution (small or large) to help raise funds.

Thank you for you support.
