Story
I have always wanted to do something for charity and I couldn't think of a cause better than Sue Ryder. The care the charity gave my mum in the final few weeks of her life was amazing. The staff at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice were so compassionate, thoughtful and understanding with our family.
Why a running challenge? Well, anyone who knows me, knows only too well how much I love food and I have been less than active in recent months. So it's also about time, that I drag my 22 stone self (starting weight) and crack on with making couch to full marathon happen.
My efforts start with Run Cheltenham on Sunday 3 September followed by the Edinburgh Marathon in May 2024.
Your sponsorship, however big or small, means the world to me and will be the fuel I need not to give up (and boy do I need that!). Not only that but it will go towards supporting Sue Ryder continue to provide the expert and compassionate passionate palliative care that they are so brilliant at!
Thanks again, Jamie.
