Mizuno Reading Half Marathon · 17 March 2013 ·

We are an independent Berkshire charity whose first priority is to make sure that people being treated at the RBH have the easiest and most comfortable time possible. We provide retail, café and bedside services for patients, their families and hard-working hospital staff. We also raise money from the local community to help pay for new equipment and facilities to improve everyone’s experience of our fantastic hospital.

Story

Sunday 17th March 2013 sees me run the Reading Half Marathon for the 5th year running in aid of League of Friends of Royal Berkshire Hospital, who are committed to improving the wellbeing of patients and visitors to the hospital. It's never a good time to be in hospital and nor is it always pleasurable to be visiting loved ones. With this in mind, the league actively work to help improve the environment for all patients, visitors and staff across all wards.

I would sincerely appreciate any spare funds you can pledge to help with the activies the League of Friends undertakes - even if you can only spare the price of a pint, it still goes a long way.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: League of Friends gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
