Hi there, 👋Welcome to my Just Giving page. My name is Jamie Earley I am a second-year student from Mary Immaculate College.I and 19 other students from Limerick will be attempting a life-long dream and attempting a very challenging climb of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania next August 2022. I will be partaking on a 6-day expedition to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in aid of Meningitis Research Foundation.🗻

A little summary on Meningitis for those who would like to know more. Meningitis is the inflammation of the protective membrane that surrounds the spinal cord and brain. This swelling is usually as a result of a buildup of viral or bacterial infections. Meningitis can affect any age from very young children up to adults and elderly aged people. This brutal disease, if left untreated can take the life of someone in under 12 hours!!. Shockingly Meningitis causes more deaths in children than measles, aids, tetanus, and malaria combined.
