Tough Mudder 2013 - South West · 21 September 2013 to 22 September 2013 ·

The Dream Foundation was set up to inspire and support young people at a disadvantage to believe in themselves and their dreams, through providing free access to opportunities, training and education in the performing arts, and providing a platform for young people's voices to be heard.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, I am planning to do numerous (I say this because I'm not even sure of the final number) events starting in September 2013 running through to August 2014.  The events are listed on my team page (so far there are 5 other events confirmed but there will be 2 more once I've decided on something as equally badass) they are designed to get more brutal after each one.

So this challenge, the first, is the ToughMudder; Wow what a way to kick it all off! Tough Mudder events are hardcore 12 mile-long obstacle courses designed by the Special Forces to test your all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie. With the most innovative courses and 1,000,000 inspiring participants worldwide to date, Tough Mudder is the premier adventure challenge series in the world. It is badass check out the obstacles if you don't believe me http://toughmudder.co.uk/obstacles/

Don't worry, all of the costs for this and my other events will covered by yours truely so all of your donations will go straight to my two chosen charities so that they can continue there great work.

I have chosen to support The Dream Founation and StreetGames both of whom are doing work to bring my two passions performing arts and sports to young people who would otherwise have missed out. I would like to support these great movements to give young people the same amount of enjoyment and experience that these activities have given me over many years.

So could you please dig dip and donate, either spliting the money equally (which I know may be a pain but it won't really take that long will it?) or if you would prefer to donate to one, pick the one that you are most passionate about.

The Dream Foundation was established as a registered charity and aims to provide subsidised or free access to performing arts training and performance opportunities for young people who are at risk and those who would otherwise not be able to take part through financial hardship, lack of positive role models, or lack of opportunity.

The Dream Foundation believe that despite their damaged image and the pressures they experience, young people continue to look for avenues to express themselves in a safe environment, work hard, be creative, have fun, make a contribution to society, feel valued and value themselves. provide a platform for young people’s voices to be heard.
