I was due to run the 2020 London Marathon but due to the pandemic my place has been moved to the 2022 Marathon taking place in October. I will be fortunate enough to be running the London Marathon for Barts Charity which is an amazing cause and which has been extremely close to my family for a long time.

In 1985 my Auntie Helen unfortunately lost her fight to beat Leukaemia and in the same year, a young man Chris Dobbs whose transplant was successful, ran in the London Marathon to show his appreciation and raised funds for the Charity set up by the head of department at that time Professor Newland. Since the creation of the Charity, my family have been raising money ever since In memory of my Auntie Helen.

I am aiming to raise as much money as possible for this great cause not just in memory of my Auntie Helen but also for my Nan and Grandad. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
