Hello there,

Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I am honoured to have been given the opportunity to partake in the Hackney Half Marathon to help raise awareness and vital funding for the Gallions Music Trust.

The Trust was founded in 2008 with the principal goal to helping develop and support music at Gallions Primary School in the highly deprived Windsor Park Estate in Newham East London. The trust supports music at Gallions in many ways including financing enriching music projects, musical instruments & equipment, tuition fees and much more.

Gallions primary sees every child from the age 3, receive a full and inspirational music education from the moment they arrive at the school and every child from the age of 6 learning a string instrument in small groups, using the Colourstrings method.

It is knowing this which has given me the urge to want to help raise funding for this fantastic trust to help continue the amazing work and supporting the future for the young generation.

If you are able to make a donation no matter how little or small, you truly would be making a massive difference to the lives on these children, however just taking the time to visit this page still goes a long way because the impact of raising awareness is just as powerful.

I absolutely love working at this school and I am truly thankful to be taking part in this event knowing that I could be making that small bit of difference and continue to see the smiles on the children when they attend a music lesson.
