Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening genetic condition that slowly destroys the lungs and digestive system. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity fighting for a life unlimited, when everyone living with CF can look forward to a long, healthy life. www.cysticfibrosis.org.uk

Story

I am taking part in an event called ‘Chase the train’ with my aim being to raise as much money as possible for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. The event is a 8.9 mile run along the Bure Valley railway line between Aylsham and Wroxham.

The CF Trust is a charity that means a lot to our family, those of you who know me will probably know that my 9 year old niece, Ruby, suffers from Cystic Fibrosis so anything we can do that could potentially help Ruby and others in her position must be worthwhile.

I felt that it was about time I helped the cause, with my sister Laura (Ruby’s mum) having run the London Marathon and our Mum & Dad both having taken part in the Great North Run in recent years, all in aid of the CF Trust.

Any donation no matter how small will be greatly appreciated and will really help spur me on to do well. Thank you x
