The UWS Accounting Society will be completing a sponsored hill walk up Conic Hill on the 2nd of April to raise funds for Student Minds. We have chosen this charity as their work centres around looking after the mental health of students and members of the university community. Mental health is an important issue to us that we would love to raise funds for as we saw those in the university community face serious mental health battles during lockdown. 

STUDENT MINDS:

Student Minds is the UK’s student mental health charity. Their goal is to transform the state of student mental health so that all in higher education can thrive. They support students to develop the knowledge, confidence and skills to look after their own mental health, support their peers and create change. They also work collaboratively with institutions, students’ unions and other organisations involved in higher education, supporting them to take a whole-university approach to mental health.
