In 2019 I will be running two different half marathons raising money for two life changing UK children's charities.

I'll be starting with the London landmarks half marathon on March 24th which I am proudly running for the wonderful Make-A-Wish UK. Make-A-Wish grant magical wishes to sick children and young people across the UK enriching their lives and giving them hope for the future, so that they can gain the strength and reslience they need to cope with and fight their conditions regardless of what their future holds. The memories these children create with their wishes is priceless and I'm sure we can all agree that every single child deserves to have one wish granted.

Then on 13th October I will be participating in the Royal Parks half marathon where I will raise money for a charity extremely close to my heart, the amazing Simpsons special care babies. SSCB is a neonatal charity which helps to buy life saving equipment with the latest technology, fund groundbreaking research and also finances the training given to medical staff at the neonatal unit in Edinburgh. Having witnessed first hand what impact the funding from this charity has on the centre for reproductive health at the Royal infirmary, I can honestly say that the money you donate will save at least one life and help towards giving the best possible care to extremely sick and premature babies. I will be running this race in honour of Buddy & Teddy.

I hope to raise at least £350 for each charity... So dig out that spare change and raid those piggy banks and help me achieve my target raising money for some amazing charities which help save and change the lives of thousands of children across the UK!
