My friend Matt died last year and two of his best friends and I wanted to mark it by putting ourselves into a challenging situation which mirrored the kind of things Matt loved doing. 

A road trip to Paris was the idea we settled on as it was going to be hard and also it was a nice place to finish.  I will also be doing it on my folding bicycle for extra points.

The charity I've chosen is a local Brighton one called Amaze whoc help families and children with special educational needs, a very worthy cause and one close to our family.
