Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Ella Louise Newson-Smith was born on the 20th January 2013, Ella had multiple holes in her heart and Coarctation of the Aorta, which led to Ella being fitted with a pace maker, Ella underwent no less than 6 operations.

Ella spent most of her short life at the Leeds General Infirmary, both in Ward 12 & PICU with shorts stays in various wards, sadly on the 25th June 2013 Ella passed away at home and has left a huge hole in the lives of those who knew her.

Ella was featured in local & national news many times during the SOS campaign, including being blessed by the Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu. The Children's Heart Surgery Fund is vital in supporting children & families who face living with Congenital Heart Defects.
