Chestnut Tree House cares for around 300 children and young people with life-shortening conditions across Sussex and South East Hampshire, as well as around 200 bereaved families.
From providing a few hours respite from the round-the-clock responsibilities of caring for a sick child to supporting families through some of their toughest moments.
It costs over £3.9 million every year to provide these specialist care services and less than 6% of that comes from central Government. All care is offered to families free of charge, so Chestnut Tree House relies heavily on the generosity of the local community.
On Sunday 14th April 2019, Team Chestnut will be taking on the challenge of running a 10k the the bustling streets of Brighton.
For local families. For crossing the finish line. For the Now.
