Epilepsy Action is creating a world without limits for everyone affected by epilepsy, connecting people with others, and providing support and information you can trust. We’re calling out the misunderstanding, prejudice and barriers that stop people with epilepsy living their best life.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Over the last 5 weeks my 19 month-old daughter, Alice, has had a number of seizures and received  provisional diagnosis of Epilepsy at the end of March. As we continue to investigate the cause of her seizures and begin to learn more about this condition and how it will impact Alice, I’d be hugely grateful for any contributions to Epilepsy Action, whose website has already been a great support to us.

In keeping with the tradition of my previous runs, I’ll be running in a banana costume - legs and body are older and more battle-scarred than previous years, so the perfect excuse for any slowdown! As an added incentive,  for each £1 donated, Epilepsy action will now receive £2 (the total pot will be doubled my my employer, ING who kindly donated the spot to me).

* I was also doubling but mine and ING’s limits are now reached and included in the total donations, thanks to the amazing generosity shown!!
