The DMRC Benevolent Fund purchases special goods and services for patients' rehabilitation, beyond that which is provided by the public purse. We create opportunities for patients to engage in social activities, which lets them forget about their injuries and rehabilitation for a few hours.

Story

Somethink about Me. I'm a keen cyclist who took up cycling to help support my wife with her training for her Triathlons. I fully enjoy a social, training, support and commute rides, who loves a challenge, when a challenges is presented to me I put 100% into it and give all I have .

Emma my wonderful wife got me a 112 mile Sportive ride around the yorkshire moors for my birthday containing 10000 feet of climbing.

As a high endurance cyclists im more designed to sit at a high speed and maintain the speed over a period of time. The Sportive im taking part in on July 9th will be my biggest climbing event to date and I want to make it worth while and a reason to continue when the times get tough and a reason to continue

So i decided i would like to raise funds for the DMRC Benevolent fund. they are a amazing charity give back to those who served are country.

I work at the new reabilitation centre for the DMRC Standford Hall, seeing and hearing about service men/women time spent at the DMRC with the support from DMRC benovolent fund to help there reabilitation and time there as best as they possibly can.
