We are attempting the Yorkshire 3 peak challenge on the 1st July 2023 in memory of our close friend Gary Watkin. This involves ascending 1500 metres which is higher than Ben Nevis and walking 24 miles.

Gary was a big part of our friendship group and many others. With his outgoing, social ways (AKA Mr Shrewsbury) it was hard to come across anyone in town who didn't know him. Everyone I've spoken to would call him the nicest guy you'll every meet and they will all agree that is an understatement to say the least.

During the COVID pandemic, he sadly suffered a seizure caused by epilepsy and passed away. Unfortunately no one could say goodbye the way they wanted because of restrictions, but there have been a number of charitable events created in his name. Donations have been sent to this unbelievable cause to assist with their day to day to help stop situations like Gary's occuring.

If you could spare anything during these tough times we would be grateful. Even a share of the page to get it to people who loved Gary as much as we did who we may not have on social media.
