Story
On the 4th of February 2013 I will be undertaking the biggest challenge of my life by running in a 160 mile non stop footrace across the Egyptian White desert over 96 hours. I will be doing this raising funds for the Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation.
Lauren Currie was only 15 when she died due to Wegeners Granulomatosis on the 23rd of October 2010, but had endured years of misdiagnosis prior to this. There is no need for this illness to be so regularly misdiagnosed and more awareness of this illness could save so many lives. Please read Lauren's story here:

As with all WG patients, Lauren's symptoms differed greatly from mine. It's not a something disease, it's an everything disease. I myself was misdiagnosed for around 6 months and in that time had lost all of my hearing and the use of the use of the right side of my face. Luckily, I eventually found a doctor that seen beyond the disguise of the disease and managed to save my life. His name is Mr Musheer Hussain.
