Story
I’m fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK!
This October, I’m taking part in their 'Walk 60 Miles in October' challenge to help save lives and improve the quality of life for everyone affected by bowel cancer.
At 35 years old, I’ve survived stage 4 bowel cancer.
Before my diagnosis, I had sepsis. After beating cancer, the radiotherapy damaged my hips, leading to a double hip replacement. It’s been a journey I never imagined, but I’m still here—and that’s thanks to staying positive and the incredible support of my family and friends.
I’m sharing my story for one reason: please don’t ignore the signs—get checked. Early detection can make a life-changing difference, and if sharing my experience encourages even one person to seek help sooner, it’s worth it.
Let’s raise awareness, start conversations, and remind people that no one has to face this alone.

I’ll be walking anytime and anywhere throughout the month, earning rewards along the way. Every pound I raise will help provide vital support and information to patients and their families, fund life-saving research, and support campaigns for early diagnosis and the best possible treatment and care for all.
Please support me by making a donation today. Thank you!
