Story

* Due to injury, I am no longer able to run the marathon, but will be a support vehicle for the guys. Feel free to continue donating to the cause on this page or the other guys' pages!

The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide. Every week 125 people in the UK take their own lives; 75% of all UK suicides are male.

CALM PROVIDES
> A free and anonymous helpline 0800 58 58 58 and webchat (5pm-12am daily) staffed by trained professionals
> Bereavement support
> A website www.theCALMzone.net with inspiring content
> Campaigns tackling stereotypes of masculinity, suicide and mental health.

Help us save lives.

We are a group of friends from University who wanted to take up a challenge during lockdown. We decided to train for the Edinburgh Marathon and wanted to raise money for a great charity along the way. We have raised funds for CALM in the past through our university badminton club and knew about the great work they do, so it was a great choice for us to support.

About the charity

We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We host a helpline for people affected by suicide, as well as vital online resources for anyone who needs them.
