I am Jamie Green 27 and a Stand up 'Sit Down' Comedian. 

I have Cerebral Palsy which effects the use of my arms and legs. 

I use an electric wheelchair full time to be independent. Enabling me to live a 'normal' life whatever normal means I hate that word.

Although Motability have funded the cost specially adapted van they will not fund the cost of the specially adapted wheelchair which enables me to drive from my electric wheelchair

When I was 19 

Action For Kids helped me to buy my last wheelchair. Since then I have been enabled to learn to drive in a specially adapted van custom made to suit my driving needs when using this specific wheelchair. Electric wheelchairs have a life span of approximately 5 years. I've had mine 10 years and it needs replacing.    

I am aiming to buy the same spec of wheelchair with help from Action For Kids. I would like be able to put my own fundraising contribution towards the final cost of £20.000.

I am a Sit Down comedian so please help me with my set by giving me something  to sit in.  

Just a quick update on how fundraising is going. Action for kids the registered charity have managed to raise half of the funds towards my new electric wheelchair. They have asked me to try and raise as much as possible towards the further cost of my chair.

I have currently set the fundraising target at £2000 but the more money I can raise the quicker I will be able to purchase the chair.

If you have seen me at my comedy gigs and I made you laugh I run the majority of my gigs for free so if I have made you laugh in the past please dig deep and give whatever you can.

I am in the middle of organising fund-raising comedy nights in my local area and around Cambridgeshire so I will post details on my Facebook and this page
