Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

In February 2008 I was diagnosed with a brain tumour and have since had 3 operations in March, May and July of 2008. I was treated at The Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery. I have since made a full recovery and I am now raising money for the Walton Neuroscience Fund, a charity that allows improvements in areas such as neurological research, staff training and patient welfare at The Walton Centre.

I will be taking part in The Great North Run (13.1 miles) on 20th September 2009 and am looking to raise as much as I can, so please donate as little or as much as you can!

Thanks for your support!!

Jamie
