Jamie's Cycle to Barrow! · 12 August 2017

St Mary’s Hospice provides specialised supportive and palliative care for people with life-shortening conditions throughout South Cumbria. Less than 20% of our funding comes from the NHS, the rest comes from our supporters. All our services are provided free to patients and their families.

Story

Barrow AFC director Jamie Reid is taking on the challenge of cycling 146.2 km from his home town of Southport, to the Furness Building Society Stadium on Saturday 12th August. Jamie will arrive before the first Saturday home game of the season v Woking (3pm kick-off).

Jamie has decided to take on this personal challenge to help support one of the Furness and South Lakes much loved charities, St Mary's Hospice. Barrow AFC and St Mary's continue to work together to help promote care and support for those people, and their families, when most needed. St Mary's Hospice has touched the lives of many of those who work at the club as well as the fans and the local community.
