The photograph shows the crew of Ouzo in the Summer of 2005 before setting sail for the Round the Island Race. Ru in the middle, in good Skipper fashion, flanked by three winch monkey's, Jase far left, James far right and me on Ru's shoulder, all great friends. You'll note the similarity in our team kit....MUSTO through and through, a crew obsession which had seasonal competitions amongst the crew to who had the latest addition of kit.
I'm raising money in memory of these guys, a brilliant, inspirational brother who I looked up to as well as two really great friends who I became closer with each time we sailed, skied or BBQ'ed...whatever it was, we had fun and they all made us feel special. I will miss them immensely, as I am sure you will to and I know you will have your way of remembering them. I am running the London Marathon in April 2007 as well as hiking the Three Peaks with some close friends later in the year, possibly more if I can rustle up the energy. Please help me raise as much money as possible for the RNLI, your support and generosity so far has been overwhelming.
