Story

A few members of the JK Team are taking on the London to Brighton cycle challenge in September 2023, to raise money for Sands. Gemma, Tim, Josh, Rob, and Lewis will be cycling 55 miles from Clapham Common to Brighton Seafront, taking on several hours of non-stop peddling, huge hills, and sore legs to raise money for charity. Sands is a charity which supports people affected by the death of a baby, and is an important cause which we’re keen to support. Gemma and Tim work together in the JK purchasing department, Josh and Lewis are part of our marketing team, and Rob is from our Sales department, and all have varied experience with cycling – Gemma occasionally cycles into work, and Josh has gone the ride before, but that was about 15 years ago! The five riders are part of a team of around 50 people who work at Just Kampers, and they’ll be cheered along by their colleagues along the way – and wobbling into work on the Monday wearing their medals! Just Kampers has been part of the classic and modern VW scene in the UK since 1989, and has been supporting a number of different charities over the years.
