Since June 2016 IDAS has supported my daughter Jo. Having witnessed the amazing support IDAS has given I feel really strongly that I would like to raise awareness of the work they do and say thank you. 

I have been a swimmer all my life but open-water long distance swimming is a new challenge for me. I have been training through the winter at my local swimming pool and am about to embark on open-water training at Allerthorpe Lakeland Park - where the picture on this website is taken.
